A smokier, bolder expression of Black Label with a strong Islay presence that remains consistent with the House of Walker blending styleA rich, intense blend containing naturally smoky whisky and whisky matured in deeply charred old oak casksAn offering for more adventurous drinkers who are looking to experiment with something new from their favourite brand.A critically acclaimed liquid, winning the top award at the Scotch Whisky Masters 2010, beating, in a blind taste competition, all its competitors. While consumers sometimes reference age as an indicator of quality, it is not the only determinant. Our aim is to create great whiskies and to allow our blenders the freedom to work with different whisky profiles to create an ideal flavor, unrestrained by the limits of age statements. Johnnie Walker Double Black is best taken with a little water. Adding water releases the smoky flavors as well as the more subtle notes of dried fruit and creamy vanilla. Liquor
